Terms of use
Using Directory
Harkster Limited operates Directory as part of the Alpha Capture product. Alpha Capture and Directory are product names, not separate legal entities.
Last reviewed: 1 September 2026
Operator and status
Directory is operated by Harkster Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 14661786. Its registered office is 5 Providence Court, Pynes Hill, Exeter, Devon, England, EX2 5JL.
This page records the intended terms for the current public Directory. It is expressly marked as a draft and does not claim to replace professionally approved launch terms.
An editorial directory, not advice
Directory helps users discover third-party macroeconomic research, data and analysis. Listings, collections, “Best for” judgments and verification information are provided for general informational purposes. They are not investment, financial, legal, tax or other professional advice, and they do not constitute a recommendation to enter any transaction.
Editorial information may become incomplete or out of date between reviews. Check material facts, pricing and access terms with the relevant publisher before relying on them.
Acceptable use
You must not use Directory to:
- act unlawfully, misrepresent your identity or infringe another person’s rights;
- introduce malware, probe security or attempt unauthorised access;
- overload, disrupt or circumvent technical protections or rate limits; or
- scrape or reproduce content in a way that disrupts the service or infringes rights.
Harkster Limited may restrict access or remove submitted or shared material where reasonably necessary to protect the service, users or third parties.
Third-party websites and services
Source, Provider, Platform and Resource links lead to services that Harkster Limited does not control. Their content, availability, security, pricing, access rules and privacy practices are governed by their own operators. Inclusion in Directory is not an endorsement and does not transfer responsibility for those services to Harkster Limited.
Private and shared stacks
Ordinary My Stack data stays in your browser. When you deliberately create a shared stack, anyone who receives its public link can view its name and Source information until it expires, is revoked or is deleted. A stack created without an expiry can remain available until it is revoked or deleted.
You are responsible for choosing what to share, protecting the management link and avoiding stack names that contain confidential, personal or unlawful information. Harkster Limited cannot recover a management token that has been lost.
Submissions and corrections
Information you submit must be accurate to the best of your knowledge and must not contain material you are not entitled to provide. Do not include confidential information or unnecessary personal data in free-text fields. Disclose relevant relationships when proposing a Source.
A submission or correction creates a pending review record; it does not create a right to publication or require Harkster Limited to adopt proposed wording.
Intellectual property
Directory content, software and Alpha Capture branding belong to or are licensed to Harkster Limited. You may view and print pages for personal or internal professional reference, but you may not reproduce or redistribute substantial parts of the service without permission or another lawful basis.
You retain any rights you hold in material you submit. The intended launch terms must grant Harkster Limited a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, review, edit and, where appropriate, publish that material for operating and improving Directory. Legal review must confirm the final scope of this licence.
Availability and changes
Directory is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Harkster Limited does not promise uninterrupted availability or that every listing is complete, accurate or current. Features, listings and these terms may change as the product develops. Material changes should be reflected by an updated review or effective date.
Liability
Any exclusion or limitation of Harkster Limited’s liability must be reasonable and permitted by applicable law. Nothing in the final terms may exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
The final terms require professionally drafted provisions addressing reliance on editorial information, third-party services, loss of data, indirect loss and any appropriate financial cap.
Governing law and consumer rights
The intended governing law is the law of England and Wales. The final jurisdiction clause must preserve any mandatory rights and court protections available to consumers and should be confirmed by a qualified legal professional before launch.
Contact and required legal review
Questions about these draft terms can be sent to hello@harkster.com.
Before launch, legal review must approve the effective date, acceptance mechanism, intellectual-property licence, acceptable-use enforcement, warranties, liability provisions, governing law, jurisdiction and any consumer-specific wording.
